MALAYSIA CUISINE CHICKEN RENDANG

A very famous dish for ceremonial occasion in Malaysia. It is a rich dish of meat that has been slow cooked and braised in a coconut milk seasoned with a herb and spice mixture until the liquids evaporate and the meat turns dark brown and tender. Rendang is often served with warm rice, ketupat (a compressed rice cake) or lemang (glutinous rice cooked in bamboo tubes). This product need to be store in room temperature to stand up to 15 months.
